The Early Childhood Investment Corporation (ECIC) is excited to announce the hiring of Karenia Randle, MSA, as their new Senior Director of Policy and Advocacy. With a robust background in government relations and a passion for community service, Randle is poised to make a significant impact in her new role. Randle is an accomplished government relations professional, bringing extensive expertise from her previous positions, including her most recent role as a Government Policy Advisor at Dykema. There, she adeptly guided clients through the complexities of state government, helping them navigate various policy agendas.
Prior to Dykema, she served as a Legislative Liaison for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, where she championed Governor Whitmer’s priorities aimed at enhancing Michigan’s economic prosperity. Her experience also includes various legislative staff roles in both the Michigan House of Representatives and Senate, where she developed a deep understanding of appropriations, nonprofits, economic development, health and human services, early childhood education, and community development.

Randle’s educational foundation is equally impressive. She is a double graduate of Central Michigan University, having earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts in Broadcast Cinematic Arts in 2008 and her Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Public Administration in 2013. Her academic achievements reflect her commitment to excellence and her desire to make a difference in her community.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Randle is deeply committed to community service. She volunteers with organizations such as Loaves and Fishes Ministries and the Junior League of Lansing, demonstrating her dedication to giving back. Furthermore, her recent appointment to the Central Michigan University Alumni Board of Directors highlights her ongoing commitment to fostering connections among alumni and contributing to the university’s growth.
